That was my take as well… not to bootleg to profit off of Chris, but to get some of his live music heard by a broader audience. To me, live is where Chris really shines. As good as his studio CD’s are, he’s even better live because he stretches and goes to places with his improv that I’ve never heard any other blues players get to.
